VOLUME V: Inertiae, Divine begins with my first memory: the numb, bright buzz of a plane ride from Seoul to the United States.
Within the aircraft - a womb-like space of transit, restraint, and collective isolation - the body enters divine inertia, suspended between motion and paralysis, control and surrender. This psychic limbo becomes a site of transformation and rebirth.
Drawing from aviation safety rituals, SR-71 geometry, military ergonomics, animal instinct, and post-human embodiment,
INERTIAE, DIVINE explores how containment becomes something sacred, feral, and alive as opposing forces converge.
How do we find the sacred within systems of containment?
